Job Overview The TE PBL On Site QA is responsible for assisting PBL On Site Management team and operations to drive PBL suppliers quality control and identify quality risk for continous improvement for all TE parts in PBL suppliers, especially for both NPI and Migration project sample build and safe launch, on-site activities to drive PBL suppliers to meet the scorecard target including Quality and Delivery and better cost, on time and zero quality issue delivery, to support PBL
business development goal.
Job Responsibilities
Supplier Continuous Improvement Capability
Support PBL team member high frequency on-site process audit and report out. (ensure the implementation which already been standardized to prevent re-occurrence for customer and internal issues), to enhance supplier's quality meet with TE quality requirement.
Supplier quality
Collaborating with SQE/ASQE & supplier to align TE standards (DWG/Cosmetic standard/Sampling method/QIP/BKM/Packaging spec/Change control/Workmanship, etc.)
Support SQE to verify improvement actions of 8D reports
Random spot checking for OQC
On-site check samples/process to ensure good quality of shipment based on TE plan or standard.
On site check 5M1E is followed by supplier
To confirm the effectiveness and accuracy of quality data, to calculate the yield rate
Support SQE/ASQE to follow up quality issue
Coordinate the measurements consistency between suppliers and TE
On-site Supplier training. (BKM/documentation/inspection/calibration method, etc.)
On-site Supplier FQA/inspector/QC qualification.
Support ME / SQE on site follow sample build and safe launch
Summarize the findings, actions and data efficiently.
Others
Confidentiality Responsibilities: abide by TE confidentiality rules.

Job Requirements
Associate degree (or above) in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
1-2 years on-site front production management experience is basic.
Over 2 years' working experience in Lean & 6sigma or Industrial Engineering or in related continuous improvement function areas
Working experience in connector, Cable assembly, Cage assembly, Antenna manufacturing is a plus.
Have knowledge of the supplier management, be aware of ISO9001/IATF16949 is preferred.
Ability for periodic travel required. (>75%)
Strong communication skills, Fluent English is preferred
