System Administrator

1 Opening

In this role, you will :

Ensures availability, reliability, and optimal performance of system and network infrastructure services.
Manage current infrastructure environment
- Respond to and resolve request/issues assigned through the ticketing system.
- Ensure the uptime of the system and network infrastructure and meeting SLA.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
- Capacity planning.

Install, configure and upgrade computer components and software for workstations, servers, networks, firewalls, and other related equipment.

Backup & restore:
- Maintain a proper backup schedule.
- Perform and test routine system backup and restore.
Perform technical analysis, design, and consultation for projects and proposals.
Proactively manage and maintain the system and network security.
Working closely with other departments/organizations and collaborating with other IT staff.
To ensure that the organization's standards and processes are followed and adhered to.
Participation in defining and documenting best practices and standard operating procedures (SOP).
Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation.

You are a great fit if you have :

Minimum 03 years experience providing support in complex compute & storage environments.
Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms, such as VMware and Linux KVM.
Hands-on experience with desktop, network, firewall, and server troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience in Linux and Windows OS platforms.
Good knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, IP routing, and firewall devices.
Familiarity with enterprise backup systems and best practices.
Proactive and able to solve problems efficiently.
Good command of English is essential.
