As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's computer systems, networks, and servers. Your role will involve ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of our IT infrastructure.
Your role & responsibilities:
Support, configure, maintain, and upgrade corporate networks and in-house servers (FortiGate, Cisco, Aruba, and Linux servers)
Install and integrate new server hardware and applications (for example, vSphere)
Develop and maintain backup systems
Upgrade systems with new releases and models
Ensure network security and connectivity
Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
Resolve problems reported by end users
Refine network policies and procedures
Build an internal wiki with technical documentations, manuals
Your skills & qualifications:
Experience with firewalls (Fortigate, Checkpoint, Palo Alto) troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching (Cisco, Aruba)
Ability to set up and configure server hardware
Good knowledge of IT infrastructure design, managing solutions and frameworks
Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure (Zabbix)
Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies (Veeam, Veritas, NAS)
Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or other language
BSc degree in Computer Science or related field
3+ years of experience as IT system admin
IT related certifications
Good at English is a plus
