Technical Architect JS,Microservice

We are currently looking for a talented Technical Architect to join our fast growing company to work on building out our state of the art platform that is built on blockchain technology. We have built an e-ID on a blockchain-based platform that you can store your digital identity for securely accessing and buying goods and services worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Leading in specifying and designing innovative technical solutions to challenging business problems
• Leading in ensuring the overall system design is modular and scalable for the defined business growth plan
• Work with stakeholders across the organisation to understand and document the IT requirements of the business problem to be solved
• Work closely with the development team to ensure the system design is understood, and support the development team through the entire development life cycle including the development of any initial feasibility prototypes
• Leading in defining the approach to non functional requirements to ensure the platform is highly secure, scalable and performant
• Designing and building our products from concept all the way to deployment, including being hands on and involved in the development lifecycle.
• Write and maintain high quality technical documentation
• Participate in regular Scrums and Sprint planning meetings

Seeking a senior full stack developer who has experience with solution design and is looking to step into the next role as an Architect.

Must have:

• Educated in computer science
• A development background with experience of the full development lifecycle and at least two years of system design experience as a technical architect and 5 years as senior developer.
• Experience with designing/evaluating/validating and implementing large-scale systems and modern architectures/models such as Clean Architecture, Microservices, DDD, Serverless. API etc..
• An appetite for finding solutions to challenging technical problems
• Experience with Javascript, Golang, NodeJS
• A collaborative approach to working in a largely virtual organisation
• Experience with technical standards and frameworks to implement and train development team: OWASP, Identity Management, AWS well-architected Framework,
• Continuous improvement mindset at using emerging technologies and find the best fit opportunity to integrate them into the development process.
• Experience with DevOps practices, continuous testing, integration and deployment. Experience with using tools to automate the CI/CD pipeline i.e Git.
• Strong understanding of a cloud platform such as AWS
• Good experiences with Relational Database (MySQL, Postgres) as well as NoSQL (MongoDB)
• Solid experience on concurrency programming and scheduling techniques; optimization techniques: caching, lazy loading and memory management.
• Well versed knowledge in software design patterns and software development methodologies like SOLID, DRY,...
