Technical Project Manager/ Product Project Manager

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives
• Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects
• Assign and oversee the tasks ensuring all team members are actively working toward established milestones
• Hold regular technical and stakeholder team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
• Research and evaluate tech options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis
• Assists in recruit and train talents to fulfill resource needs in specific projects
• Besides the Engineering and Data Team, work with other stakeholder such as Head of Product, Strategic Product Lead, and Commercialization Team Manager to ensure the product initiatives are fully implemented and operational

Experiences:

• Degree in business management, business information system, project management or related technical field required
• At least 8 years of experience in product management, project management, or program management

Skills and Attitude:

• Experience with qualitative data and quantitative data
• Ability to write SQL queries and use data analysis tools and APIs
• Deeply understanding the software development life cycle, the characteristics of every step
• Understand the network effect in terms of data and content flywheel, how to build the network effect and leverage it in product design
• Understanding the core concept of domain driven design, microservices and their building blocksF
• Familiar with working on cross team function structure, understanding the characteristics and responsibility of developer roles (mobile, frontend, backend, SRE, cloud architect ...)
• Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods
• Great communication and interpersonal skills to successfully work with various teams
• Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
• Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making
• Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
• Ability to foresee challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
• Experience with shipping and managing developer-facing products for users
• Professional Project Management Certification from accredited intuition preferred
• Experience mentoring, coaching and developing talents preferred
