Role Overview:

Test Engineering Team Lead for Integration Components

As the Test Engineering Team Lead for Integration Components, you will play a pivotal role in supervising, mentoring and leading a team of software test engineers on the technical design, automation, execution and resolution of the Integration test packages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Team Management:
  • Inspire and guide a team of junior test engineers with clear mentorship and support.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative culture that encourages innovation.
  • Manage team resources effectively to meet project deliverables.
• Functional and Technical Knowledge Upskilling:
  • Identify skill gaps and develop targeted training plans on Murex Integration components.
  • Collaborate with product teams to enhance training on integration-related knowledge.
  • Stay updated on testing trends to keep the team's skills cutting-edge.
• Supervision of Test Packages:
  • Oversee the design and execution of Trading test packages to align with project objectives.
  • Act as the first level of escalation for test operations and provide guidance during issue resolution.
• Efficiency Enhancement:
  • Propose optimization measures for testing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure high standards of quality and accuracy in all testing processes.
• Community of Experts:
  • Collaborate with other experts to advance the Test Unit and drive innovation across the team.
• Other Responsibilities:
  • Play the Test Lead role as needed, ensuring the successful execution of Client automated test suites and coordinating timelines with the Murex team.

• Leadership Experience: 2+ years in a managerial role in IT operations or Murex support/team.
• Technical Expertise: 5 years in Java, XML, XSL, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Scripting Knowledge: Experience with Unix and Windows OS; able to develop scripts/batch files.
• Quality Assurance: Background in software testing and quality assurance is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Interest in Testing Automation: Genuine interest in software testing automation and eagerness to learn Murex techniques.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities in complex integration challenges.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (master's degree is a plus).
• Murex Integration Knowledge: Experience with Datamart, MxMLExchange, and Market Data is a plus.
