Create and play a leading role in the execution of an overall timing plan for the BEV/ICE Power Train interface SW validation and related functions.
The PWT Test Lead is responsible for validating critical PWT functions such as cruise control Torque management, brake management, transmission control, gear shilfting & thermal management system resonsible for the specification, test and delivery of all nework modules.
The position requires a highly motivated and hands-on team player with an exceptional attention to detail, dilligence, and a positive attitude. The fast-paced development and bespoke target platform provide a challenging environment suited to a manager who has the ability to quickly develop skills in new areas and impart them on the other engineers withing a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge/Experience:

Develop test strategy, test plan and test cases
Provide architectural and technical leadership on developing automation framework.
Provide test documentation in line with automitive SPICE software process.
Development and maintenance of tools for test automation to improve effeciency and quality.
Create reproduction scenarios to aid in root causing defects.
Using online collaboration tools to effectively work in a global environment.
Triage problems and coordinate with multiple teams for issue resolution.
Maintenance of requirements traceability.
Self-driven and Innovative to drive continuous improvements in test process.
Weekly status reporting and metrics & other duties as assigned by manager.
The Powertrain Validation Engineer is responsible for delivering system test specification, Test Strategy, test plan, prepare DVP, DFMEA, BoM management, validation planning and on vehicle veriffication & validation within given time.
System & Component Functional Technical Specification (SFTS/CFTS), Design Validation Plan (DVP) as well as the Design Validation Plan Results (DVP&R).
Validation of the software implementation of their vehicle functions utilizing various methods -- Hardware in the Loop (HIL), system bench and vehicles. Additionally, work with other vehicle disciplines to ensure the vehicle function as defined from both a hardware and software are compatible and meet standards.
Lastly, will be a participant in Requirement Analysis Reviews (RAR), Sub-System Team (SST) meetings, subsystem FMEAs, development testing, root cause analysis and corrective action.

Basic Qualifications:

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
Total 10+ years of overall testing experience including 6+ years of automotive testing experience.
Proficiency in analyzing requirements and develop test cases based on functional specifications.
Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skilles.
Experience with Test management tools, test automation tools, and Project management tools.
Ability to utilize online collaboration tools & knowledge of scripting languages.
