ABOUT THE POSITION
Asia Footwear Supply Chain, we optimize Vendor and Brand on-time delivery performance through supply chain excellence, Deliver on Regional and Country level product needs. Think Global. Act Regional.
Be responsible for diplomatic communication and successful execution of seasonal supply chain requirement and its yearly goal, work closely with each window contact (ex: regional partner, raw material supplier, FG vendor, cross functional team ) to support individual strategies escalated by the management, minimize incompliance risk of FG vendors.
This position will be located in Central, Vietnam
HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
A key lead under Supply Chain to manage tooling amortization, track tooling Inventory, validate bottom component capacity and supervise bottom component production schedule, to analyse and assess additional tooling request and coordinate with FGVs and bottom component supplier, in order to optimize the manufacturing supply chain
Pre-production (Bulk Sample, Buy Ready, Lead Time and Capacity): Bulk Sample - check with
developers for factory allocation; implement sample PO from planning, packing, shipping and payment.
Buy Ready Plan: inform HQ counterparts & LO Gate keeper for not buy ready styles with exceptional case.
Materials / Finish goods lead time confirming: support material Lead Time adherence, including packing material. Enter styles lead-time on time in system. Check the Lead Time of PPR (production plan report) upon the system LT for consistence.
Capacity planning: Collaborate with HQ counterparts & FG Vendors for the seasonal buy plan. Support the transfer/dual source project and do the analysis. Review PPR & CPR with FG vendor for buy flow and capacity constraints; submit critical issues to Operational Manager
Production execution (Catalog / Seeding Samples and bulk production): Support Operational manager of Supply Chain for SOP creation, management & team coach. Work with HQ counterparts & FG vendor on the approval of PO changes. Partner with Material team to resolve delivery issues to reduce negative impacts on finished good delivery. Ensure the required updates on Vendor Portal, SAP and JDE are accurate and completed on time. Provide FG vendor with the update for relevant document/instruction and ensure FG vendor understand and follow according. Drive VAS & Shipping compliance enabling improved BSC and delivery precision. Communicate constraint impact on PO fulfilment to regional partners. Co-lead regional conference calls, prepare agenda to support these calls, and ensure comprehensive follow up on any outstanding issues within that region. Utilize processes, systems and tools, incorporating professional techniques. Communicate constraint impacts on PO fulfilments to related partners. Visit factory for production status review, work with FG Vendor on the issue prevention and resolution. Reports critical production issues and initiative progress to and consults with Operational Manager of Supply Chain on the weekly basis. Review FGV performance regularly and request vendors to do the continuous improvement action plan to address production issues.
Post production: Implement the D/N payment & destroy process timely via corresponding SOP. Implement B grade PO process twice a year. Liaise with logistics service providers on movement of cargo as required by Columbia. Provide reporting on the metrics nominated by the management.
Relationship maintenance: Understand the upstream & downstream impacts and keep good working relationship with internal & external partners.
