TOP SOLVENT (VIETNAM) CO. LTD
Position: Accountant
Principal Accountability:
Responsible for Accounts Receivables (AR):
Ensure all funds are deposited promptly and cleared off against the Debtors ledger so that accurate reporting of customer outstanding including overdue is generated for effective working capital management;
Reconcile the AR balance with customers;
Responsible for solving all AR issues.
Responsible for Accounts Payables (AP):
Ensure all suppliers, intercompany and staff payments are paid on time without incurring any double payments or late payment penalties charges;
Liaise with suppliers on queries regarding payments;
Record all payables and payments into the system correctly and in time;
Responsible for pretty cash;
Reconcile the AP balance with suppliers.
Month End Closing (MEC):
Responsible for ensuring that AR and AP closes by the 2nd weekday; this requires close interaction and oversight of the Customer Centre staff completing their Sales and Purchases transactions on time during the MEC;
Responsible for updating all invoices into system in the right period;
Responsible for clearing all General Ledger Open items to ensure accounts are current and properly accounted for;
Responsible for monthly Bank and Cash Reconciliation to ensure all bank balances and petty cash balances reconcile with book records;
Finish MEC within 3 weekdays next month;
Responsible for quarterly stock check and ensure that stock accounts are reconciled with physical stocks;
Assist FM in the non-AR/AP MEC work.
Taxation:
Responsible for timely and accurate submissions of VAT, WHT, PIT declaration to ensure prompt payment or refund and to avoid any penalty payments;
Manage E-invoice that linked between SAP and E-invoice web;
Work with Tax department (if necessary);
Responsible for tax audit.
Master Database in SAP:
Send request to create supplier code in the system;
Reports:
Prepare reports as requirement.
Work with internal and external audit.
Assist FM in some other tasks.
Back up for FM and Finance team in their absence.
Key Challenges:
Provide quality finance support to the TOP Solvents Vietnam, maintain a solid framework of business control and ensure all activities comply with the company policy and local requirements;
Fully meet payment deadline, a careful document verification before payments;
Meet MEC deadline event of on holiday;
It also gives you an opportunity to interface with Supply Chain & Customer Central, Sales, Terminal, HR and Admin.
Knowledge and Experience required:
A minimum 5 years working experience in Accounting;
Knowledge of International and Vietnam Accounting Standard, taxation and regulations;
Good knowledge at Excel and SAP;
Good communication and interpersonal skills to ensure positive relationships with both internal and external customers;
Ability to work under pressure and respect of deadline;

Good in written & spoken English.
