Context
SYSTRA is the Lead Consultant for the HSR project between Ho Chi Minh City and Can Gio.
The Signalling System Engineer will support the Signalling System Expert and Railway System Manager (International) in all technical activities of the Lead Consultant related to Signalling Systems.
Missions/Main Duties
Support the Signalling System Expert and Railway System Manager (International) in all Lead Consultant technical activities related to Signalling Systems.
Review design submissions from
designers and contractors related to Signalling Systems and prepare Review Comment Sheets (RCS) to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Prepare Lead Consultant deliverables related to Signalling Systems.
Coordinate closely with VSP, SGC system teams, contractors, the Shadow Operator, ICE, ISA and other consultants on Signalling matters.
Contribute to the Risk Register, Interface Management activities and safety-related activities, including the Safety Case.
Coordinate with Civil, Track and Railway Systems disciplines whenever Signalling interfaces are involved.
Support the Client in obtaining approvals from Vietnamese authorities for the Signalling System.
Support Lead Consultant construction supervision activities, including equipment delivery, storage, testing and T&C, as well as audits, hold points and resolution of technical issues on site.
Report site activities through technical reports to the Client.
Organize and participate in design and construction meetings with the client, contractors and designers, prepare MoM and follow up action plans.
Contribute to overall project reporting, including weekly meetings, monthly reports and the risk register.
Work location may be in Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi City. And business trips between Hanoi and HCMC will be required.
Profile/Skills
Good experience in railway Signalling Systems.
Good experience in design review and technical coordination.
Good understanding of installation, testing and commissioning activities for Signaling Systems.
Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work with clients, contractors, designers and other project stakeholders.
Local Vietnamese is a must.
