Trade Lane Manager

* Main Purpose of the Role:
As an Trade Lane Manager at ZIM Logistics Vietnam, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of developing new business and implementing strategies that will drive the company's growth and expansion. This senior role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the logistics industry, and exceptional skills in global network development.
* Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop, implement, and manage a strategic business development plan to promote growth and expansion of ZIM Logistics Vietnam's global agency network.
- Client Relationship Management: Nurture high-level relationships with key overseas agents, industry partners and clients. Develop robust agency acquisition and retention strategies to maintain a high level of client satisfaction. Act as a bridge between overseas partners and local operation teams to ensure seamless processes and customer satisfaction.
- Market Analysis: Conduct extensive market research to identify potential business opportunities. This includes understanding the logistics market, competitors, and trends within the freight forwarding industry.
- Sales Leads: Regular exchange of sales leads with overseas partners to ensure a mutual two way cargo exchange and development. Keeping track of such activities and organize monthly calls with key stakeholders. Overseas trips may be required.
- Negotiation and Sales: Negotiate contracts and close agreements with potential partners or customers, driving profitable and sustainable growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the internal teams (like Operations, Customer Service, and Finance) to ensure seamless service delivery and address any customer issues promptly.
- Product Development: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and enhance service offerings based on market demands and customer feedback.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and report on business development performance metrics. Present regular performance and progress updates to senior management.
Achieve the assigned sales budget and targets.
