Grant Thornton (Vietnam) Limited is an independent member firm of Grant Thornton International. We are a leading professional services organisation in Vietnam providing Audit, Tax, Advisory and Business Processing Solutions services. We have a professional team of 13 partners and more than 350 professional staffs in offices located in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

Transfer Pricing is an increasingly important field of taxation practice in our increasingly globalised and complex business world. It is a fast-changing and interesting field of work that combines the disciplines of economics, business and taxation and requires strong analytical skills.

In order to meet the demand of our growing practices, we are looking for qualified candidates to fill in positions of Transfer Pricing ("TP") Associate supporting our Tax Services of Ho Chi Minh City office in delivering high quality compliance and advisory services to our diverse portfolio of clients.

Detailed tasks of and required qualifications for these positions are as follows:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Work with Seniors and Managers on the delivery of transfer pricing consultancy to clients across industries.
Prepares TP documentations, including the preparation of working papers, for the assigned engagements under the supervision and instruction of the Seniors/Managers.
Assist to prepare other TP compliance, planning and advisory materials as might be assigned.
Research for information as might be requested by senior levels.
Regularly attend meetings and assist in client relations, when appropriate.
Maintain a credible and professional relationship with colleagues at all levels, clients, networks, teams and across other service lines.

Qualifications/Skills

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Law, Accountancy, Auditing or equivalent professional qualification.
Fresh Graduates or 1-year experience are encouraged to apply for Associate position
Fluency in English (reading, writing and speaking).
Attention to details and Strong analytical skills.
Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
Teamwork, interpersonal and communications skills; effective collaboration with other team members and/or peers.

Grant Thornton Vietnam is an independent member firm of Grant Thornton International and was established in 1993. Initially it was a joint venture with Concetti. In 1997, Grant Thornton Vietnam was converted to a 100% foreign owned enterprise, and opened a branch in Ho Chi Minh City.

In 1998, we officially became a full member of Grant Thornton International. The firm's name was changed to Grant Thornton (Vietnam) Limited in 1999.

In 2007, we proudly met the criteria to audit listed companies.

In 2013, we were more than excited to celebrate our 20 years Anniversary in Vietnam. It has been a gratifying and successful endeavour as we have grown from our first days in 1993 to who we are today. Also in this year, Grant Thornton Vietnam has been listed as the only foreign invested firm that has been permitted to determine the value of 100-per-cent state-owned enterprises by the Ministry of Finance Vietnam.

2014 has marked another milestone. From 1st July 2014, Grant Thornton Vietnam Ltd and Nexia ACPA Auditing & Consulting Co Ltd ("ACPA") are to merge officially. The merged firm will be part of the Grant Thornton global network and will practice under the Grant Thornton name. The merger brings together a leading professional services firm in Vietnam with an excellent combination of professional team of 14 partners and more than 220 professional staff in offices located in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

In 2015, Grant Thornton Vietnam was listed as the only foreign invested firm that has been permitted to determine the value of 100-per-cent state-owned enterprises by Ministry of Finance Vietnam. In 2016, we remain dedicated to delivering solutions to meet our clients' current and future needs, and continue to be focused on helping our clients to unlock the growth potential of their business.

In 2018, we are very excited to celebrate our 25 years anniversary in Vietnam.
