1. Prepare a budget, projections, or cash flow forecast for owner's approval.
2. Apply and obtain all the necessary licenses to operate the hotel.
3. Liaise with all authorities and submit all necessary reports to apply for various payment like Custom, Tax, ...
4. Apply and open all bank accounts and ensure working capital is adequate.
5. Source and ensure the entire hotel, room contents, and equipment and employees
6. Assist and source for all PPE, equipment, linen, utensil...
7. Assist and source for telephone providers, TV channel providers, IT system providers to operate the hotel system.
8. Ensure all financial policies and procedures are drafted, approved and implemented
9. Prepare all monthly reports and maintain the records on all expenses.
10. Prepare payment for all contractors, suppliers, employees.
11. Shortlist, recruit the Finance team and conduct the training
for operation:
12. Organize, lead and direct the operations of the accounting department and its related facilities and functions to the highest professional standards and in accordance to the generally accepted accounting procedures as imposed by the law, the external auditors, the Company and the owners.
13. Set up and implement accounting and finance policies and procedures to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
14. Safeguard the assets of the owners.
15. Ensure quality control over revenue, expenditure and cash flow on a daily / monthly / yearly basis in order to maintain and improve the profitability of the resort.
16. Direct and supervise month-end and year-end close processes, responsible for auditing balance sheet accounts and ensuring all reconciliations are prepared and cleared on a monthly basis.
17. Prepare and provide financial analysis of operations for use by management.
18. Prepare and publish annual financial budget in conjunction with analysis of current financial statements.
19. Coordinate the preparation of other regulatory reporting
20. Ensure timely and accurate management and financial reporting.
21. Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and government reporting requirements and tax filings.
22. Ensure that the Resort is compliant with all applicable policies.
23. Assist General Manager in the management of the resort's financial performance.
24. Review all audit files prior to annual audits.
25. Responsible for coaching, developing and conducting performance evaluations of all supervised staff
26. Report any financial issues which result in budget overspends, breaches in the company's policies and procedures, or affect the company's business operation to General Manager.
27. Develop the annual operating budget for all business units.
28. Schedule meetings and share all budget information with the relevant parties.
29. Develop and implement local budget spread forms and procedures.
30. Ensure maximum involvement of hotel management teams in budget process as a training tool.
31. Ensure that the business units' budgets (including CAPEX) are submitted to the Owner for approval in a timely manner.
32. Other tasks as defined by the General Manager
