Managing a team of 10 -15 members, report directly to Logistics DIrector
Position Context
This position is responsible for leading Inventory Control activites, bringing expertise in managing inventory, setting inventory targets for daily/yearly management, meet and exceed inventory turns target, drive inventory accuracy by resolving physical and system related issues, bring comprehensive inventory management reports and advise leadership to take appropriate action at the right time. This position reports to Internal Control Manager.
Position
Responsible for advising leadershing and working level team related in inventory accuracy, resolving issues related to cycle variance, setting targets for inventory management, develop metric from SAP system and monitor health of SAP system related to inventory management.
Responsibility include working with various manaufacturing shops and Finance team and leadership team on a daily basis.
• Support in achieving Inventory target, including inventory roadmaps with feasible action items
• Analyse inventory records in order to assist with cycle root cause investigationand other related inventory BOH issues
• Prepare monthly inventory package to be reviewed with leadership. Lead discussions and address / ask for support / share action plans to address inventory issues
• Develop and use IC Health metric to track performance and provide stability in logistics operations
• Provide training for Cycle count team in different shops to ensure knowledge sharing and reduce cycle variance
• Work through hardrock inventory issues by deepdiving significant issues in variance and address systemic cycle count issues in shops
• SAP access related conflicts in all the areas of logistics operation to be monitored and controlled
• Understanding of SAP system and Inventory controls through SAP system.
