Job Title:
Business Development Manager (BDM)
Location: Lotte Center Hanoi, 19th Floor, East Tower, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi
Reports to: Head of Representative Office
This is an individual contributor position without subordinate staff, directly responsible for handling project development and coordination tasks.
Key Responsibilities
1.1.
Business Development and Coordination
Support development of LNG-to-Power projects, focusing on PPA negotiation, site preparation and coordination with relevant authorities (MOIT, EVN/EPTC, Provincial People's Committees, etc.).
Prepare, review, and manage documents, reports, and presentations related to project development, finance, and technical matters.
Assist in communication and coordination with financial, technical, and market advisors, as well as Korean and local project partners.
Participate in and summarize meetings with the relevant authorities, consultants, and investors.
Track progress and follow up on permits, licenses, and approvals related to project implementation.
1.2. Communication and Translation
Support interpretation and translation tasks as needed, primarily English-Vietnamese, and occasionally Korean-Vietnamese depending on capability.
Ensure accurate understanding and communication during meetings, official correspondence, and project-related documentation in Vietnamese and English.
1.3. Stakeholder Relations and Networking
Support the Head of Representative Office in maintaining communication channels and coordination with local authorities, ministries, and other related agencies.
Assist in identifying and exploring new business opportunities & relevant news in Vietnam's energy and power sectors.
1.4. Administrative and Reporting Support
Assist the Head of Representative Office in managing internal coordination, documentation, and project tracking.
Perform other tasks assigned by the Head of Representative Office related to business or administrative operations.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or any other field related to Key Responsibilities.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in energy or infrastructure sector; preference for candidates with experience in power or LNG-related projects, especially with MOIT, EVN, or IPP
developers.
Language:
Fluent in English (required).
Vietnamese native speaker.
Korean language ability is a plus, but not mandatory.
Skills:
Strong understanding of Vietnam's energy and power regulatory environment.
Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 17:30 (12:00-13:00 lunch break). Flexible working hours can be applied by mutual agreement.
Allowances: The gross salary includes general allowances (Transportation, lunch, etc.) and additional allowances can be paid for business trips as per office policy.
13th-month salary and standard insurance (social, health, unemployment) according to Vietnam Labor Law.
Probation Period: 2 months with full salary after insurance contribution.
