Principal Duties and Responsibilities (list of tasks in order of importance or the time consumed)
1. Executive, Quality Assurance:
x Responsible for the QA functions in the relevant section
x Plan, conduct and monitor risk management activities, testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality meets customer requirement.
x Motivate subordinates to promote their job efficiency & maintain discipline, morale and harmonious relations among subordinates.
x Ensure that the employees at the respective function adhere to all relevant procedures/ SOP (Standard operation procedure) and WI (Work instruction)
x Conduct quality meeting and review KPI with subordinates periodically for continue improvement.
x Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions.
x Feedback & communicate with relevant parties on matters pertaining to product quality or process error for correction & prevention.
x Work with the team to improve first pass yield (FPY), observed quality level (OQL), Lot Accept Rate (LAR)
x Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers.
x Investigating customer complaints and non-conformance issues
x Analyze facts or circumstances surrounding individual problems to determine what action should be taken within the limits of standard practices.
x Responsible for verifying corrective actions committed are implemented.
x Ensure all customer feedback and complaints are addressed.
x Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards.
x Participate in training and development activities to ensure that new technologies are applied, and staff skill levels are developed
x Ensure departmental and sectional objectives and work procedures are fulfilled and followed accordingly.
x Ensure compliance towards safety policies and regulations always.
x Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned
2. Executive, Quality Engineering:
x Draft quality assurance policies and procedures.
x Interpret and implement quality assurance standards.
x Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards.
x Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data.
x Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems.
x Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
x Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities
x Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
x Collect and compile statistical quality data.
x Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.
x Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
x Prepare reports to communicate the outcomes of quality activities.
x Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards.
x Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers.
x Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions.
x Monitor risk management activities.
x Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
