Our Team:
Grab for Business is the B2B SaaS team within Grab that helps to simplify business transportation, corporate food & package deliveries as well as related services for companies across Southeast Asia. We actively engage with top companies and brands across the region and it is imperative that we drive efficient revenue channels via new products for our business. GrabGifts is Grab's digital vouchers business, a hyper growth product launched, scaled and managed by the Grab for Business team. We are looking for an Assistant Commercial Manager - GrabGifts to join our Grab for Business Vietnam team to contribute to this growing digital voucher business.

To perform this role well, the candidate should be able to:
● The ability to create and follow processes, and be independent in most situations
● Have strong communication skills (Vietnamese & English) and rigorous attention to detail
● A strong passion for consultative sales, sales strategy and commercial operations is a must
● Have strong sales and commercial acumen and be highly data driven
● Contribute creative ideas to marketing campaigns; being hands-on is essential
The Role:
You will report to the Manager - Grab for Business, Vietnam and be part of the country Grab for Business team, assisting in building up the company-wide GrabGifts business.
Your tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:
Grow the business:
○ Own the Vietnam commercial strategy for the GrabGifts business; Identify opportunities, develop strategy roadmaps and execute the GrabGifts go-to-market plan effectively with regional teams.
○ Manage all GrabGifts agreements, contract lifecycle management and updated Grab T&Cs, working in tandem with Grab's Legal team regionally and in Vietnam.
○ Make Salesforce the central pivot for all commercial activity for GrabGifts; ensure all GrabGifts opportunities and closed won sales for all deals in Vietnam follows regional SOPs.
○ Qualify, meet, propose and close deals with potential GrabGifts Resellers and inbound corporate partners.
○ Align with your manager to develop a GrabGifts commercial plan in line with overall objectives.
○ Work closely with Grab for Business & GrabGifts Marketing teams to execute tactical campaigns and partnerships that drive sales orders. This could include, but are not limited to, online/offline lead generation, event management/participation, EDM campaigns, local branding campaigns and referral marketing.
○ Be a GrabGifts subject matter expert, and work closely with the Grab for Business regional teams to implement localized product ops initiatives and SOPs.
○ Establish a solid understanding of GrabGifts' solutions to identify new commercial opportunities with new and existing GrabGifts resellers in Vietnam. Be the GrabGifts subject matter expert for all Grab for Business Vietnam teams, and help them discover potential growth areas to achieve stretch targets.
Reseller Management:
○ Negotiate with vendors & suppliers, make sure stakeholders adhere to and understand contractual obligations, and also determine processes that violate regulations.
○ Build strong and long-lasting relationships with our GrabGifts reseller partners through long term planning, handling objections, asking the right questions and understanding their pain points while resolving them.
○ Clear communication with corporate customers, vendors, suppliers and internal teams on any product and commercial updates.
Internal Stakeholder Management:
○ Build and maintain healthy cross-functional relationships within the wider Grab organisation for the smooth functioning of the business.
○ Work with cross-functional stakeholders to develop solutions that best address consumer needs while simultaneously meeting performance objectives.
Data Analysis & Insights:
○ Enable GfB teams with industry and data-backed insights to achieve excellence and surpass customer expectations.
○ With in-depth data analysis of GrabGifts (using CRM and other internal tools), drive and develop account specific growth strategies and approaches, solidifying Grab for Business' position as a market leader. Present account plans based upon data driven insights to establish revenue goals and business plans that advance the accounts' performance while also working on new initiatives.

The Qualifications:
● Proficiency in customer experience tools (Salesforce CRM, reporting dashboards)
● Experience: Min. 4-5 years business development or sales experience; experience in the gift cards / vouchers industry or loyalty / reward programs is a bonus.
● Ambitious, self-driven and highly motivated individual who can work well in a startup VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environment. Must demonstrate integrity and respect in the performance of their duties.
● Comfortable with data and use of Google tools (Google Docs / Sheets / Slides)
● Communication: Strong and effective communicator with good presentation and speaking skills who can verbally and visually articulate their point of view clearly and succinctly.
● Education: University degree; a specialisation in Business Management / Marketing / Communications is useful in this role.
