MQ INGREDIENTS is looking for a competent PURCHASING SPECIALIST.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job summary:
• Take in charge of all operations of the end-to-end purchasing process while taking into account cost-effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain excellent relationship with the suppliers to ensure products remain competitive and of a standard to meet and/or exceed customer and company expectations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Manage the process of purchasing.
• Deal with shipping documents and follow up the shipment from door-to-door to solve any problem happened.
• Correspondence with Suppliers, Carrier, forwarder pertaining to shipment
• Check and verify Freight Forwarder's invoices, and forwards these to Accounting dept for payment.
• Check with Suppliers to supply Sales & other depts with product documents (Label, SPEC, COA, Ingredient list...) on time.
• Negotiate prices, terms, rebates and contract stipulations
• Arrange international payment documents, follow up settling payment for Suppliers
• Communicate and work closely with Sales and warehouse department to manage effective inventory and shortages.
• Other tasks assigned by the manager or board of directors.
