What you need to know:
● Salary offered USD $1,500-2,500 USD per month
● Location: Hanoi, Vietnam
● Full-time (40 hours per week)
● Financial Accountant role for a high-growth business, scaling globally
You will be accountable for daily financial operations, as well as providing professional and supportive business to the Group CFO.
The Role
This is a full-time broad and hands on role, responsible for the provision of all financial accounting services.
The candidate will develop an in-depth understanding of company operations and financial requirements, then use this knowledge, paired with their own skills and past experience, to maintain a seamlessly run financial environment.
The successful candidate will be a professional and easy-going person with excellent, clear written and verbal English communication skills. They will also be efficient and reliable with a commitment to administration and be able to work in a team environment. Key responsibilities include:
● Assisting with the preparation of budgeting and forecasting reports
● Assist with the preparation of month end management reporting pack
● Overseeing the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll
● Managing intercompany transactions
● Ensure compliance IFRS
● Assist with cash flow forecasting
● Overseeing the Fixed Assets Register
● Assistance with preparation of Statutory Accounts and other external reporting
● Preparation of regulatory reporting requirements
● Provide variance commentary for P&L performance against budget and forecast
● Preparation and processing of month end reporting in accordance with month end timeline
● Liaise with internal & external stakeholders to ensure requirements are met in time
● Processing of accruals, prepayments and subsequent journals
● Other ad hoc accounting and finance duties to support the business.
● Reconciliations including General Ledger and Balance Sheet

● Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
● Excellent attention to detail
● A minimum of 4 years + post grad accounting experience
● Strong computer software skills, including spreadsheets and Accounting packages (Xero)
● Studying towards CPA / CA
● Business Degree, with a major in Finance or Accounting
● Able to show initiative and be a self-starter
● Ability to work within strict deadlines and reporting timelines
● Strong verbal and written English communication skills
● Prioritisation and organisational skills
● Knowledge of IFRS
