YOU
You want to be an important member of a strong team of other makers who take pride in their work and support each other. As an Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating directly with our US stakeholder to research, develop Simpson Strong-Tie products.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
· Research, accumulate knowledge related to application of engineering principles for design/ analysis
· Utilize the knowledge not only about products of Simpson Strong-Tie but also about other competitors to establish product conversion and comparison for supporting sales department of home office in the US
· Accomplish the creation and collection of AutoCAD drawings to describe the method of testing products
· Maintain close relationships with team members to control the progress and quality of all the projects delegated
· Implement other tasks per supervisor's instructions

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
If you can do everything listed above, you've got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:
· Bachelors Degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering
· Acquire less than 2 years of experience (Freshers are also welcome)
· English skills: equivalent to TOEIC 600 and can comprehend technical documents in English
· Being familiar with using AutoCAD is a must
· Be capable of understanding the Structural and Architecture drawings thoroughly
· Willing to learn and share new knowledge to others
· Independence, abilities to work effectively as a team member with a minimum of supervision
· Gaining knowledge of VBA Excel, US Construction Codes (IBC, ACI 318, AISC 360, ...) and Inventor software is a plus
