UI/UX PRODUCT DESIGN INTERN

Homebase is looking for a talented candidate to join the Homebase as a Graphic Design Intern. This position will have a chance to work directly with the core members of our small but elite team and will have the following responsibilities:
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, visual designs, and prototypes, as well as write clear documentation, to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
Implement and follow the design process to make sure we always have the design ready before the development
Play a key role in the visual design of our products and brand identity
Participate in analyzing product requirements and product planning to understand the company products
Collaborate and work across functions including design, product, engineering, and data teams to deliver high-quality products
Conduct UX research to understand the users who are either our customers or internal users.
Present visual designs to peers and stakeholders while clearly communicating design rationale
Work with the marketing team to design marketing & branding materials for marketing campaigns
Conduct experiments to always improve the customer experience for our customer-facing products
Make strategic user-experience decisions related to product functions and features
Support the design team in day-to-day production needs, visual design

REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for candidates who have:
Background in UI/UX Design or related role within a technology company.
Strong knowledge in wireframing, prototyping, user testing, interaction, and visual design
Experience in design and prototype tools like Figma is preferred.
Having a clear and defined design process.
Strong understanding of design fundamentals (color theory, typography, grid systems, layouts, icons, and interactivity).
Proactive and passionate: You're independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations.
Accuracy and attention to detail: You pay strong attention to detail and have a keen eye for aesthetics.
Concise and effective communications: You're able to articulately present and debate recommendations with cross-functional teams and senior leadership in written and oral English and Vietnamese.
