Founded in 2020, Var Meta has 60 engineers heavily focused on blockchain, virtual reality/augmented reality and AI technologies. We work with customers from different parts of the globe like Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, US to help them build products like Crypto Trading Platform, Launchpad, Securities Tokenization Offerings, eWallets, and NFT Marketplace, etc. We have earned the trust of renowned global brands such as Ubisoft, Hedera, and Aptos.
About this opportunity
Participate in projects working with Malay clients. The team currently has 1 dev, working directly with the founder - CTO
Responsibilities:
Implementing Character with stats into game scores on rhythm gaming (can level up)
Implementing Accessories that increases stats into game scores on rhythm gaming (can merge)
Implementing Multiplayer 1 V 1 battle
Implementing throphy (MMR) systems
Integrating with Tezos SDK & other on-chain
Assets are classified as NFT & non-NFT
Implementing Gacha System for users to purchase new character/accessories/ equipment
Implementing a In-game Shop for users to purchase music in the game
Implementing a back-end to store all data of in- game purchases, gameplay data (currently are default on playfab)

Requirements:
2-3 years experience developing games with Unity
Proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming
Understanding of game design patterns and architecture
Experience shipping at least one game on mobile, console, or PC platforms
Ability to quickly prototype and iterate game ideas
Strong collaboration and communication skill
Nice to Have:
Experience developing games in specific genres like RPG, Card, platformer, etc.
Knowledge of Unity services like Multiplayer, Ads, Analytics, etc.
Contributions to Unity Asset Store or open source Unity projects
Experience using source control systems like Git
Good English communication (write, read, speak and listen) is a plus
