Vendor Management Staff

Position Purpose
Support the Vendor Management team in managing subcontractors (subcon) and maintaining sufficient transportation capacity to support daily operations and business activities.
Reporting Line: Report directly to Vendor Management Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support Vendor Sourcing & Management
Assist in sourcing subcontractors for existing operations and new business requirements.
Support vendor onboarding activities, including collecting and maintaining vendor documents and records.
Maintain and update the subcontractor database.
Monitor vendor availability and support truck arrangement during peak demand periods.
Follow up on vendor performance and service quality.
2. Support Pricing & Documentation Control
Assist in checking transportation pricing and identifying price discrepancies.
Support quotation preparation and rate updates in the system.
Coordinate with subcontractors regarding pricing adjustments or operational changes.
Prepare and maintain vendor-related reports and documentation.
Ensure proper filing and documentation for vendor management activities.
