Job Description:
The School Vice Principal serves as the educational leaders responsible for communicating with and empowering the school to carry out Vinschool's vision and mission. The Vice Principal is responsible for managing policies, facilities, regulations and procedures that ensure all students are learning, are supervised in a safe learning environment, and are provided a high-quality education that allows students to enhance their skills, knowledge and virtues, while also actively promoting their self-awareness, pro-activeness and competence to succeed in an ever-changing world.
Essential Responsibilities
Delivering the vision and mission of the school
Improving the educational outcomes of students
Developing the quality of teaching and learning
Nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers, the community, and stakeholders
Key Accountabilities
Lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
Uphold stewardship as a value based, ethical and moral activity.
Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
Set high standards for student and staff performance.
Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
Form partnerships with parents and community groups.
Understand the legislation and policies that impact schooling.
Manage resources to achieve goals.
Qualifications:
Requirements and experience:
Bachelor's degree in education / education Leadership, Master's preferred.
Professional Teaching qualification/license/certification as applicable
Previous experience in a leadership role, preferably as a Principal or Vice Principal in an international or bilingual school setting.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Requirements:
High levels of personal integrity.
Conscientious and able to focus on completing work to a consistently high standard.
Flexible and positive approach to work.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills; high attention to detail.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and able to prompt others to ensure deadlines are achieved.
Adaptable to working in a fast paced ever changing environment.
Ability to work under pressure and remain calm.
Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
Continually strive for improvement.
