What you will do:
Work as part of an agile team:
Be the voice of QA during agile ceremonies. Autonomously drive the testing life cycle to ensure quality from medium to large-size features while reducing the system's tech debt or legacy issues in assigned projects
Collaborate with agile teams to ship valuable product increments.
Actively participate in ticket refinement/grooming by bringing up unforeseen scenarios and use cases.
Perform thorough functionality tests:
Review acceptance criteria,
developer notes, and design documents to formulate test cases.
Test domain-driven web and mobile-based applications referencing database-heavy back-end systems and check the consistency across devices, browsers, and operating systems.
Conduct periodic exploratory testing in test environments.
Be responsible for product quality:
Work with the engineering teams to derive testing requirements throughout the development cycle.
Provide inputs on high-level test scenarios, challenges, risks, resources, test estimates, etc., during test planning meetings.
Your skills and experience
What you should bring to start working with us:
Proficient in English communication for both written and spoken skills.
3+ years' experience in the same role.
Ability to handle both manual and automation tasks in the ratio of 60% (manual test) - 40% (automation test).
Good hands-on experience in tests with:
API BE testing with Postman
UI responsive web application
Mobile testing with simulator/emulator and real devices
DB testing
Ability to develop and maintain E2E testing frameworks with at least one automation framework (i.e. Cypress, Playwright, ...). Hands-on experience with Git tools and basic commands.
Be a go-to person for one or more testing technologies, take the initiative to learn new testing skills, and produce output as a result to show effective learning progress.
Good knowledge of the Agile methodology.
