Responsibility
1. Overall Governance
- Support periodic revision of policies, standards, guidelines, work processes and procedures that is relevant to accounting work, to ensure efficient operation and alignment with company's policies & compliance with relevant governance.
- Support periodic revision of policies, standards, guidelines, work processes and procedures that is relevant to taxation work, to ensure efficient operation and alignment with company's policies & compliance with relevant governance
2. Payment management and accounting support
- Perform and monitor all day-to-day accounts payable and receivable work, including (but not limited to):
+ Monitor schedules, progress, and balances of outgoing or receive payments or expenditures
+ Prepare and send payments to appropriate parties
+ Generate source documents for any receivable and send to appropriate parties
+ Maintain historical records of outgoing or receive payments or expenditures via documentation and storing of source documents
+ Post information on any payable or receivable to the accounting software promptly and accurately
+ Perform reconciliation on accounts and balances to ensure consistency, identify and resolve any issue
+ Prepare analysis of accounts and periodic reports to inform and update the management on important details
- Correspond with auditors (government, auditing firm and non -Operators) to ensure a fast and accurate auditing process
- Manage and control inventory
- Provide accounting consultation to other parties in the company
- Provide backup for accounts payable and receivable tasks
- Coordinate with Deputy Accounting Leader and Accounting Leader to improve the management and reconciliation of foreign contractor tax and VAT.
- Work with Deputy Accounting Leader to carry out lead automation of accounting entries and processes through innovative IT solution and advanced accounting procedures
3. Tax operations
- Manage and perform end-to-end foreign contractor withholding tax
- Support in justifying rightfulness of tax payment to regulators and tax office
- Provide tax consultation to other parties in the company
4. Other accountabilities
- Provide guidance to colleagues and younger staffs
- Improve existing accounting and tax regime
- Follow up on unresolved issues and arrange follow-up meeting if needed
- Research and update accounting policies and accounting regulations, especially in petroleum operation
- Engage in regular meetings/ updates with team members, collect feedback, encourage and promote team spirit
- Collaborate and support on other initiatives upon request
- Be accountable for other certain works as assigned
- Research and update tax policies and tax regulations
- Identify tax optimization opportunities (if any)
- Working location: District.1, HCMC
- Monthly Salary: 600-1000(USD)
