Academic Director

Job Summary:
The Education & Operations Director is responsible for shaping the educational strategy of Busy Bees Vietnam (BBVN), driving academic excellence, ensuring quality and compliance standards, developing the capability of educators and school leadership teams, and overseeing operational effectiveness across all Busy Bees schools.
This role provides strategic leadership to ensure alignment between educational quality, curriculum standards, people capability, operational performance, and the long-term growth objectives of Busy Bees Vietnam. The position plays a critical role in delivering a consistent, high-quality educational experience that aligns with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), Busy Bees standards, and international educational frameworks.
The Education & Operations Director partners closely with the BOD to drive growth, strengthen operational excellence, and support the sustainable development of all Busy Bees schools.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. School Operations
• Provide strategic direction for the overall operations of all Busy Bees schools to ensure consistency in service quality, customer experience, and operational effectiveness across all campuses.
• Establish operational standards, governance frameworks, and best practices to ensure schools effectively implement the organization's operating model and uphold Busy Bees standards.
• Lead the evaluation of operational performance across all schools, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive initiatives that enhance service quality, resource utilization, and school performance.
• Guide and develop school leadership teams to strengthen management capability, operational excellence, and strategic execution.
• Oversee annual operational and educational budgets to ensure effective resource allocation, cost optimization, and sustainable business performance across all schools.
2. Education & Curriculum
• Shape the educational strategy, learning philosophy, and academic direction of Busy Bees Vietnam in alignment with its strategic objectives.
• Lead the development, standardization, and continuous improvement of educational programs, competency frameworks, and learning outcomes to meet MOET requirements, Busy Bees standards, and international educational best practices.
• Establish academic standards and curriculum governance frameworks to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality learning experiences across all Busy Bees schools.
3. Quality Assurance & Compliance Governance
• Establish and maintain a quality assurance and governance framework to ensure consistent implementation of educational, operational, and service standards across all Busy Bees schools.
• Ensure compliance with MOET regulations, licensing requirements, legal obligations, internal policies, and Busy Bees global standards & governance requirements.
• Lead quality reviews, compliance monitoring, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and support sustainable growth.
• Establish and monitor key academic, operational, and quality performance indicators to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across all Busy Bees schools.
4. Talent & Capability Development
• Develop the capability-building strategy for educators, school leadership team, and academic team to support current and future business needs.
• Provide strategic direction for learning and development, coaching, leadership development, succession planning, and professional growth initiatives across all BBVN schools.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and leadership excellence across the school network to support educational quality and sustainable growth.
5. Organizational Leadership & System Growth
• Lead and align the teams responsible for school operations, curriculum, quality, and training to ensure effective execution of Busy Bees Vietnam's educational and operational strategies.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the organization's medium- and long-term strategic plans, including school expansion, educational innovation, quality enhancement, and organizational transformation initiatives.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the BOD on matters related to education, quality, school operations, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness.
