I. Summary:
- Handling fixed assets, booking transactions
- Supporting preparing statutory Reports and monthly reporting packages.
- Working under and reporting to direct manager
II. Duties: Working under the supervision of direct manager.
1. Fixed assets Handling:
- Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system.
- Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts and close out those accounts once the related projects have been completed.
- Calculate depreciation for all fixed assets.
- Update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation.
- Fixed asset counting periodically.
- Do capex reconciliation (between actual and budget, Master file and Ledger account) on monthly basis.
- Filing documents on time and clearly
2. Booking transaction: Booking all transactions before posting to the system, ensure they are enclosed with sufficient documents.
3. Month-end closing
- Reconcile the balance (and details) of all accounts in the Balance Sheet for month-end closing.
- Reconcile and provide an explanation for monthly cost variances between actual and budget.
- Support to direct manager to prepare monthly reporting package and other supporting files (including supplemental reports regarding Fixed Assets)
4. Statutory Reports:
- Prepare ad-hoc requirements assigned by the department manager with the provided deadline.
- WHT, VAT reconciliation and declaration
- Reconcile tax status/tax paid with local tax periodically.
- Support manager to prepare VAS reports to comply with current regulations.
- Support to prepare documents and templates for VAT refund yearly.
5. Others: Other tasks assigned by the direct manager.
