Listing as part time, but happy to look at full time people looking for flexible hours.
Australian software and professional services company with pleasant offices and motivated team located in Tan Dinh, near the markets. We are looking for an experienced person to join our management team to act as the Finance and HR manager. This is a small team and it is a part time role of approx 20-30 hours per week.
Experience with managing foreign and local workers is required.
- Accounting in this case means managing everything from invoice creation through to bank reconciliation and reporting.
- Human Resources in this case means managing staff contracts, paying the social insurances, PIT, trade Unions etc. This is not a recruitment position.
- Understanding of Work Permits and TRC for foreign workers is required
This is a part time role of approx 20 to 30 hours per week. Preference will be given to applicants who have worked in companies who practice time based billings such as web development, consulting or IT services.
Xero accounting experience is preferred.
Reports directly to the CEO. You will be comfortable taking charge and able to investigate and solve issues. As a one person department, you will be responsible for all aspects of the company HR and FInances. You will be part of the company management team and responsible for all matters related to Finance, HR.

Working with Government Authorities and acting as the interface to ensure we meet local rules and regulations for our foreign owned company and employment contracts including PIT and SHUI. You will be expected to investigate issues, make decisions and define the company processes to improve reporting and business growth.
If you have excellent English comprehension and senior accounting qualifications, this role could be suitable.
You will need to be the driver for this role and communicate daily to the CEO for status updates on all ourstanding tasks and responsibilities.
Daily Tasks will include:
- Reconcile 2 company bank accounts to ensure accurate recording of customer payments and outgoing transactions
- Work with Australian and Vietnam company accounts
- Follow up with customers for outstanding customer payments
- Produce Daily Revenue Reports by Contract and Team Member
- Track staff leave and allowances
- Checking time logging by team member and reporting
- Run household accounts to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and reported
- Assist the CEO to manage the daily affairs of the company
- Create and review employment contracts
- Be a company signatory to ensure documents are filed and contracts completed in a timely manner.
- Vietnamese born with very good English Skills to assist you working daily with Australian staff
- Our office only speaks english even though all staff are Vietnamese
- Comfortable working alone to fulfill all daily accounting and reporting requirements
- Understand the full cycle from create invoices, to reconcile account and produce P&L and Balance sheet reports
- Understand all aspects of the government regulations for staff benefits and government reporting
- Have previous experience working with professional services billing such as web development, creative agency or marketing company
- Be looking to take control of all aspects of our company human resources and billing management
- Some Project Management skills an advantage
- Knowledge of Xero and Fast Accounts will be an advantage
