Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Accounts Support to join our dynamic company based in Australia. As an Accounts Support, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service to our clients and assisting in various accounting and administrative tasks. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively with both internal teams and external clients will be essential to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Receivables:
· Generate and send invoices to clients. Address any discrepancies and resolve account receivables and billing issues.
· Follow up with customers for overdue invoices by appropriate communication methods.
Collaborate with internal departments to address more complex issues.
Send monthly statements to customers.
· Account Payables:
· Accurately enter vendor invoices in systems.
· Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
· Prepare payment request for COD and due invoices.
· Monitor and ensure monthly overhead expenses are captured in the month.
· Follow up with colleagues to get receipts for all credit card transactions and perform credit card reconciliation.
· Bank Reconciliations:
· Enter bank transactions including receipts and payments in systems timely.
· Check and update payment status for COD shipments to operation team.
· Reconcile bank statement on a regular basis.
· Data management:
· Maintain and update accurate data information of vendors and clients on systems ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
· Verify and update bank account of new vendors.
Assist other administrative tasks assigned by supervisor

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Prior experience in an accounts support, customer service, or administrative role is beneficial. Familiarity with basic accounting principles is a plus.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify issues, analyse information, and propose effective solutions.
Team Player: Capable of working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and building positive working relationships.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing processes and business needs.
- Working hours: Working hours for this position are based on Melbourne Time (MEL). Flexibility to accommodate the MEL time zone is essential.
