Alpha School Hai Phong - Chief Accountant

EQuest is currently one of the largest private education institutions in Vietnam with more than 362,000 students enrolled annually in our member schools, including K-12 schools, universities and vocational institutions, foreign language schools, as well as various Edtech platforms.
Alpha School HaiPhong-a proud member of EQuest-has continuously expanded its footprint in the culinary industry. We are looking for a Chief Accountant to lead strategic initiatives and oversee business operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting Management:
• Organize the system of accounting accounts, books, vouchers, and procedures in accordance with regulations.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and tax reports as per legal and company requirements.
• Ensure compliance with tax, accounting, and financial regulations.
• Control revenue, expenditure, and expenses to ensure transparency and efficiency. Organize, manage, and store accounting documents systematically.
• Capture and update information on changes in laws, accounting, and tax standards.
• Represent and be responsible for working with Statistics, Taxation, Banking, Auditing agencies, and partners.
• Regularly evaluate and improve the accounting system for efficiency and compliance.
2. Financial Planning & Operations
• Analyze and report data to the Board of Directors (BOD).
• Plan and coordinate cash flow to ensure effective operations.
• Plan, evaluate, and control investment project implementation.
• Work with HR and management to complete salary scales, evaluate suppliers, and refine regulations.
• Summarize revenue and business activities, and oversee accounting department operations.
• Manage, assign, supervise, and train accountants and general accountants.
• Provide financial and accounting consultancy to the BOD.
Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Board of Directors.
