Mô tả công việc
Promote all meeting venues & F&B outlets to maximize MICE & Wedding business
Prepare proposals and contract letters to customers in an efficient and timely manner.
Be able to conduct an intensive Resort site inspection and join any hosted function as directed by the Management.
Follow up business under negotiation as well as handling confirmed business.
Develops and maintains contact with business generators, meeting and convention planners, visitors/convention bureau, travel agents, tour operators, airlines, corporate accounts, Government Departments and other producers closely allied to Hotel business
Builds profile within local market place through attendance at various events and local market place Research and update regularly key market insights & business intelligence.
Refers sales leads to appropriate personnel within the InterContinental Hotels Group
Sells to new, existing and prospective customers considering goals set forth in the sales strategy, negotiating optimum rate for the benefit of the business
Ensure all inquiries are uploaded property in Sales & Catering System. Prepare weekly and monthly Banquet Sales Report (business negotiating, business confirmed and business lost; always aware of the reason of losing business in order to improve for further business opportunities).
Issue Event Order's for daily functions ideally 5 days before function, except for Last Minute functions.
Work closely with the Banquet Department, the F&B Director and the Chef to ensure complete follow up a function.

Yêu cầu
Proficiency in MS-Office (Word-Excel-PowerPoint) with experience in PMS and Sales & Catering system like Opera, Fidelio, Delphi
Excellent communication in English & Vietnamese; especially business writings
Additional background in F&B or event planning would be an advantage
Demonstrated past achievements & references on business negotiation, customer service & behavior & client relationship management with a strong focus & business sense
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Hospitality/Tourism/Business Management. Related fields: English as a Foreign Language/Marketing.
Experience:
At least 1-2 year experience in pro-active selling or business development under MICE segment for a 5 star international property
At least 1 year experience in ground handling or logistics for MICE in a 5 star international property
Excellent communication in English & Vietnamese; especially business writings
Additional background in F&B or event planning would be an advantage
