** Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Working closely with Hotel/Restaurant management to deliver exceptional customer service and implement hotel operating standards.

• Sound knowledge of food and wine service essential - preferably within4.5- 5 star hotel operating environment.

• Being hands-on leader - maintaining presence at the front and on the floor and lead by example.

• Supervising and directing floor staff each shift - solid communication skills required.

• Assisting the FNB and/or Restaurant managers in ensuring that outlets are properly managed within standard guidelines.

• Ensure the hotel restaurant or F&B outlets are well maintained and ready for service on routine basis.

• Liaising with guests to the highest standards and resolve any guest feedback to the highest standard.

• Implement upselling strategies amongst the team.

• Be responsible for all aspects of restaurant operation from opening to closing procedures.
