Engage Asia Ltd is an international ICT, AV and Risk/Security consultant and project management practice with clients across Asia. The role is hybrid working for clients in Vietnam and elsewhere in Asia working with an international based team

Role Description:

The role is two Fold:

1. AV Technical Consultant and project manager for new-build construction or refit projects (Note, this is not a Contractor role, rather we are a Design Consultant). This is the primary role.

2. Sales and Business Development

Furthermore:

- Acoustic beneficial, at least ability to specify general acoustic performance requirements for building spaces

- typical ELV/ICT/Security systems very beneficial

- lighting design, beneficial

Business Development. Sales commission based. Approximately 30-50% of time is expected to be on growing existing and generating new business. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candiate to generate business and result in serious additional personal income, minimum 5% of Contract value.

Opportunity to propose and lead new service offerings and share in profit accordingly. If you have different, additional experience to Consulting such as Contracting, Managed Services, Outsourcing technical personnel to Clients then we are open to your ideas and preparing business plan.

Qualifications:

• AV Technical Consulting or AV Contractor background (if Contractor ability to think and communicate like a Consultant essential or willingness to learn)
• "Enterprise AV" solution experience required e.g. for corporates, hospitality etc rather then "Broadcast AV" for television
• Trust, Integrity and Loyalty to team critical
• Discipline, Drive, Determined, Self-reliant, Self-organised - not need constant supervision
• Performance driven to meet targets
• Emotional Intelligence EQ to understand Client needs
• Market Experience: in Hospitality/Hotels strong benefit in addition to Corporate/Office, Property, Logistics, Mission Critical, Airports
• Consulting Mindset. Professional Consulting appearance in your dress and how you speak and communicate to clients and others - not a "contractor/installer" - higher-value, becoming a Trusted Advisor to our Clients
• Experience in Hospitality/Hotels Projects is essential. Corporate/Office, Property and other sectors beneficial
• Ability to understand Client operational and business needs and become a trusted, value-add advisor, translate into technical design and documentation and manage
• Project and Site Management from Concept to overseeing the Implementation and T&C by Contractor
• CAD - essential. Typical AV/ELV type drawings for Tender
• BIM beneficial, not essential or at least ability to view BIM models
• Word/Excel to produce deliverables
• Visio beneficial or similar. Ability to prepare Schematics and similar
• Written and spoken English essential, in addition to local language.
• Prepare Designs, Options and able to explain/discuss with Client and Project Design Team
• Understand latest solutions and options to match Client needs including technologies, vendors and contractors
• Understand the local market (beneficial to include countries of Asia), opportunities and competitors
• Prepare typical Consulting deliverables including Concept, Schematic, Tender Specifications, Tender Management thru to review of Contractor submissions and completion/Handover.
• Effectively contribute or lead project meetings, including with Project Team/Designers/Contractors and Client
• Ability to undertake effective technical Co-ordination and oversee Contractors installing the Systems
