AVP, Client Implementation Manager, Global Transaction Banking

Business Function
Global Transaction Services (GTS) comprises of Cash & Trade, Securities Services and Fiduciary Services. In an increasingly borderless world marked by burgeoning trade flow, expertise in trade finance services is an invaluable asset. With cash the lifeblood of every company, so too, is a good understanding of how to manage these cashflows. Trade Finance, together with Cash Management, is the mainstay of GTS, and is extended to SME and corporate clients for their local and cross-border financial transaction needs.
Responsibilities
• Drive the standard and complex client implementation mandates locally and across the region.
• Manage clients' inquiries regarding GTS products and services arising out of the client implementations
• Perform post implementation reviews to ensure migration of the agreed operating flows from the other banks to DBS Bank, and quality of the overall implementation.
• Engage client regularly to understand/resolve operating issues and seek continuous opportunities to increase cross selling opportunities.
• Provide support on internal process improvement initiatives and identification of opportunities
• Project managed the implementation of an agreed mandate through proper planning, and engagement of relevant stakeholders to execute the agreed plan with client from pre-sales, requirements definition, design and develop, implementation, go live and post implementation review.
• Able to work independently to decide and focus on implementing practical solutions to problem resolution within the defined timeline.

• Continuously manage and support the customers to achieve greater user satisfaction.
• Provide support to clients post implementation if there is enquiry about technical issue or user's activation/usage to ensure utilisation.
• Deepen relationship with clients post implementation to defend client's business flow/commitments and identify opportunities to increase cross selling opportunities.
• Support Product and Digital Channel during initiative/enhancements or new product/service roll out to drive commercialisation and scale up the channel utilisation.

• At least 3-5 years of banking experiences with GTS experience is preferable.
• Proven project management experience
• Reasonable verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changing operating environment
• Time management and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
• Operations and customer service experience a plus
• Certifications a plus (Certified Treasury Professional, Project Management Institute)
• General knowledge of client's ERP systems.
• Understanding of API, Cloud and Digital Platforms.
• Able to produce MIS reports and data analytic insights
• In-depth technical knowledge is not required.
• Strong soft skills in the following areas:
+ Effective communication skill
+ Planning and organization skill
+ Effective problem-solving skill
+ Time Management and Ability to work under tight timeline
+ Data analytic and reporting skill using common tools (Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL, etc.)
+ "Can-do" attitude and strong commitment to deliver business objectives

• Prior experience of GTS business is preferred, including general banking knowledge
• Superiors: Ability to communicate upwards effectively with regards to ideas, issues, guidance, and direction. Ability to demonstrate independence.
• Peers / External Parties: Ability to work in collaboration with all key stakeholders within GTS and across different functions in the bank, including the sharing of knowledge and going through the extra mile to help others. Ability to listen to others point of view with an open mind.
