Job Description

Work closely with the Team Lead to design, develop, and implement backend features and services.
Contribute to application architecture design and backend system implementation.
Develop, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services, primarily using NodeJS/NestJS.
Participate in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of existing Java-based backend services when required.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, including unit and integration tests.
Follow project coding standards and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams using shared code repositories and development processes.
Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in backend development, with strong hands-on experience in NodeJS/NestJS.
Strong proficiency in NodeJS/NestJS and experience building scalable, maintainable backend applications and services.
Working knowledge of Java 8+, with hands-on experience developing and maintaining Java-based backend services.
Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, Hibernate, and familiarity with Spring Cloud is preferred.
Good understanding of Monolithic and Microservice architectures, RESTful APIs, and synchronous/asynchronous communication.
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with Redis, Maven, Docker, Jenkins, and Git.
Experience designing and developing APIs and backend services in a collaborative software development environment.
Experience working on Banking, Financial Services, or enterprise systems is preferred.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to troubleshoot backend issues.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
