Job Description
- Work closely with the Team Lead to design, develop, and implement backend features and services.
- Contribute to application architecture design and backend system implementation.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services, primarily using NodeJS/NestJS.
- Participate in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of existing Java-based backend services when required.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, including unit and integration tests.
- Follow project coding standards and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using shared code repositories and development processes.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in backend development, with strong hands-on experience in NodeJS/NestJS.
- Strong proficiency in NodeJS/NestJS and experience building scalable, maintainable backend applications and services.
- Working knowledge of Java 8+, with hands-on experience developing and maintaining Java-based backend services.
- Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, Hibernate, and familiarity with Spring Cloud is preferred.
- Good understanding of Monolithic and Microservice architectures, RESTful APIs, and synchronous/asynchronous communication.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Redis, Maven, Docker, Jenkins, and Git.
- Experience designing and developing APIs and backend services in a collaborative software development environment.
- Experience working on Banking, Financial Services, or enterprise systems is preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to troubleshoot backend issues.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
