VNF is looking for a Business Development Executive to join the Industries Team at our spin-off company - RetriV.
RetriV is the Winner of Net Zero Challenge 2025 in Circular Economy & Waste Management. Emerging from VNF's long-term commitment to zero waste, RetriVTM leverages biotechnology and engineering to build an advanced nutrient recovery system to turn the wastewater from a cost center into a revenue center.

JOB DESCRIPTION -
TECHNICAL SALES - FULLTIME (HCMC OFFICE)
1 - Department: Industries Department
2 - Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential customers in the water treatment/nutrient recovery sector.
- Introduce and promote VNF's bio-based products and solutions for water treatment and environmental management.
- Provide pre-sales and post-
sales technical support:
+ Conduct customer site visits, conduct jartest, evaluate application conditions, and recommend appropriate product solutions.
+ Guide product usage, dosage, and application protocols based on technical requirements.
+ Collect customer feedback and provide troubleshooting support.
- Collaborate with internal R&D and technical teams to:
+ Develop product presentations, usage guides, and technical data sheets.
+ Organize product trials and monitor performance in real-life applications.
- Maintain customer relationships, follow up on leads, and support account growth.
- Other tasks requested by Project Lead.
- Education: Bachelor's/Master's from HCMC University of Technology, VNUHCM University of Science, similar institutions, or overseas.
- Background majors: Chemical engineering, Environmental engineering, Material science, Biotechnology, or related fields.
- Experience: 2-3 years in technical roles, R&D, or technical sales in relevant sectors (e.g., water treatment).
- Language: Proficient in English (IELTS 6.0+ or equivalent)
- Skill set and attitude:
+ Experience and skills in lab work and field experimentation, focusing on hands-on testing (jartest) or real case operating
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
+ Self-driven, proactive mindset with eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
+ Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team
+ Knowledgeable and willing to learn and apply AI for work
- Other preferred requirements:
+ Willingness to travel when required
+ Strong interest in scientific research
