Business Development (Offshore Energy)

Our French client is a service company that deploys and operates autonomous and self-power floating buoys. These modular platforms accommodate various environmental observation instruments to provide their customers with offshore data collected in situ. These data are mainly intended to know in a precise way the conditions (energy assessment, environmental impact, ...) on a specified offshore zone for industrial purposes (development and financing of offshore wind projects or other renewable energy projects).
To meet our client's growing need, we are recruiting a Business Developer to strengthen the Asia-Pacific (APAC) team.
Under the responsibility of the Head of APAC Development Director, the Business Developer will ensure:
1. Market Monitoring & Prospecting
APAC market and competitors monitoring (strategic existing countries and new markets)
Identification of new prospects and referencing
Participation in international exhibitions and conferences in Vietnam and the APAC region
Management of the response process to tenders in the APAC region, in conjunction with management.
2. Supply Chain Building & Optimization
Sourcing of local logistics actors required to set up services on local and regional markets
Identification of equipment calibration sites (floating LiDAR)
Monitoring AKROCEAN/partner relationships
