Role Summary:
As a Card Issuing Officer, you will oversee and manage the card issuance process, ensuring seamless customer experiences while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and financial institutions to ensure efficient operations and high-quality card services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Card Issuance Operations
• Manage the end-to-end process of issuing physical and virtual cards, including application processing, data validation, and card personalization.
• Ensure accurate and timely issuance of cards according to service-level agreements (SLAs).
2. Customer Service Support
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to card issuance (e.g., lost cards, re-issuance, card delivery issues).
• Provide guidance to customers on card activation, usage, and best practices for security.
3. Vendor and Partner Coordination
• Work closely with third-party vendors, including card manufacturers and delivery partners, to ensure quality and efficiency in card production and distribution.
• Liaise with partner banks and payment networks (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) for compliance and technical requirements.
4. Compliance and Security
• Ensure all card issuance activities align with local regulations, PCI DSS standards, and company policies.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain high standards of data security and fraud prevention.
• Monitor and ensure the organization's adherence to all Card Network mandatory programs, policies, and rules.
• Keep updated on the latest Card Network regulatory changes and program requirements, and implement necessary changes in the card issuing process.
• Prepare and submit required reports to Card Network and other regulatory bodies on time, ensuring all necessary compliance documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
5. Reporting and Data Management
• Maintain detailed records of issued cards and generate regular performance and compliance reports.
• Use data analytics to identify trends and suggest improvements to the card issuance process.
6. Process Optimization
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate card issuance workflows.
• Stay updated on new fintech trends, card technologies, and regulatory changes to adapt operations accordingly.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, IT, or related fields.
• Experience:
• 2+ years of experience in card operations, banking, or fintech.
• Familiarity with Visa, Mastercard, or local payment card systems is a plus.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM or card issuance platforms.
• Good command of English (both written and verbal).
• Other Requirements:
• Knowledge of PCI DSS, AML, and local regulatory requirements for card operations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
