Category Strategy and Planning:
- Lead the strategic planning and development of the HPC category.
- Develop comprehensive plans for product development, distribution channels, and target customers for each product group within the category.
Budget Management:
- Oversee the budget for the HPC category.
- Allocate budgets for various sales support activities and promotional programs to ensure company objectives are met.
- Develop and implement trade promotions for the category, distribution channels, and target customers according to the allocated budget.
Market Analysis and Consumer/Shopper Insights:
- Monitor, analyze, and leverage market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor information.
- Implement effective
trade marketing activities based on product understanding and target customer insights.
- Conduct market research and market visits to review and evaluate trade campaigns, competitor actions, and industry data reports (both internal and external) to propose action plans (Sales/Marketing/Trade) for each channel/region.
Market development & Marketing Campaign Development:
- Develop and oversee BTL marketing campaigns, product launches, and in-store activities/promotions.
- Evaluate trade campaigns to provide data and suggestions to improve trade promotion efforts.
Collaboration with
Business Development/Client:
- Work closely with the Business Development team to collaborate with Clients to get support for distribution & Marketing activities.
- Propose new products and pack sizes that align with market demands.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Tech, Operations, and Finance teams for seamless execution of category strategies.
- Provide valuable insights to enhance overall business performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 - 7 years of work experience in Category & Channel Management / Business Development / Trade Marketing in GT Channel, preferably within the HPC category or FMCG sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and consumer insights.
- Excellent strategic planning and project management skills.
- Proficient in budget management and financial analysis.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in English.
