Central Academic Information Services (Cais) Officer

JOB PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for dealing with administrative tasks for Central Academic Information Services (CAIS), student records, and other duties.



AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare transcript - Semester, Yearly, and Final

• Release result to students:

+ Send notification email to students when Staffordshire University (SU) releases results to the student's portal.

+ Send notification email to BUV students when the results are ready to release if in the normal condition.

+ Send results to BUV students via email if in the pandemic period.

+ Prepare and send provisional results to students after Quality check for MBA and after external board for SU undergraduate via email

• Send results to parents

• Resit for students

+ Resit listing preparation

+ Resit letter and resit fees preparation

+ Send the resit letter and resit fees to students and parents

• Student progression:

+ Prepare can't proceed list and students list with academic issue

+ Prepare the email templates to students and parents

+ Send email to students and parents to update academic status after external board and after resit board.

• Prepare merit list

• Prepare summary grades for scholarship students

• Respond to enquiries from students and parents

• Student records:

+ Keep track of deferment, withdrawal, change programme

+ Keep track student academic records up to date and their academic current status

+ Prepare the student's status before the exam board

+ Prepare the student list to send to partnership if any

• Security paper and Hologram tracking

• Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager
