Key Responsibilities
1) Evaluate laboratory analysis and reports and review internal quality standards and testing methods. Ensure all analytical testing is conducted as agreed to customer's testing methods. (AB)
2) Ensure all analytical testing is conducted in a timely manner. (AB) and have a good rapport with external testing labs.
3) Ensure product grading is on time and associated documents (CofAs, Final Product Release Certs etc) are correct and legible and ensure that good documentation practice is adopted (AB)
4) To be involved and responsible for the FSSC2200 requirements (AB)
5) To manage and involve in the traceability and mock recall exercise.
6) To key in, review, analysis and trend the OOS incoming raw materials, in-process controls and final products (SIS / AB )
7) Assist in the investigation of raw material /product quality issues and/or customer complaints and work closely with the QA team on the goods disposition.
8) To provide technical queries to depts on AB quality Control related matters
9) To involve in new raw material/ final product spec / grading template
10) Responsible for the updating and maintaining of the Quality control testing Manual, raw material, final product and packaging spec.
11) To participate and assess the performance of the external testing lab and engage in cost negotiation.
12) To ensure that analytical instruments are calibrated and in working order and external calibration is carried out on-time as per schedule
13) To develop and maintain the Quality control SOPs and ensure good documentation practices is adopted.
14) To update, review, consolidate and confirm that the testing cost monthly summary is correct for AB.
15) To annum review the testing protocol and testing cost for raw materials and final product and propose alternatives for cost saving
16) Manage a team of quality staff under documentation / quality in-process / raw materials / product disposition. To provide OJT to the Quality team and ensure the individual perform their roles and responsibilities as defined in their job descriptions
17) To involve and assess the competency and performances of the individual QC technician assigned by the superior
18) To train the QC technicians in in-house testing (physical & sensory), environmental swabbing, equipment swabbing and ensure that SOP's are strictly adhere to
19) To be responsible in maintaining the high standards of housekeeping(5'S) in the lab.
20) To develop, review and maintain the lab inventory stock level
21) Other activities as required by immediate superior.

Requirements: MALE less than 35 years old
Good in English 4 skill
1) Minimum diploma in Food Science, Microbiology or related. or Minimum 2 years practical analytical experience in a regulated food manufacturing facility
2) Understanding of QMS, HACCP, FSCC22000 inspection & analytical testing
3) Able to work under a fast-paced environment.
4) Positive working attitude, cooperative with all levels, initiatives, fast worker with analytical mindset.
5) Competency in Microsoft Office software EXCEL and WORD
