Role overview

Report to Procurement Manager

Procurement Specialist is responsible for all local spend regarding indirect categories like operations/ general services, sales/marketing, and non-onboarded indirect spend, and is also responsible for executing daily operational and tactical procurement tasks related to his/her area of responsibilities. This person shall be able to work independently and structured with tenders. He/she is strong in communication, has a good Sales & Marketing/procurement knowledge as well as overall business understanding. The Local Buyer manages suppliers of various sizes and ensures supply security.
This position supports many different types of categories and is the single point of contact for day-to-day tasks related to the indirect categories.
The position is expected to provide best ratio between price, quality and deliveries for all goods and services he/she is responsible for and requires close cooperation with the Procurement manager and relevant stakeholders in Carlsberg Group's local business units. This position must ensure that the maximum value is being extracted through sound stakeholder engagement, value propositions to suppliers, robust procedures, and compliance with purchasing policy.

What you'll be doing

Drive local sourcing activities in accordance with Carlsberg's sourcing process
Propose and execute local savings and optimization activities with local supplier
Managing stakeholders in day-to-day requests for local direct activities.
Escalation of day-to-day issues with suppliers, which cannot be solved by users
Executing RFx (Request for Information, Proposal, Quotation) for local spend
Administrative tasks like cVend, Contract making, POs, workflow, price discrepancies, item code, BPO etc.
Signing local agreements.
Operation of new products development.
Co-operate with stakeholder and supplier to solve defect issue.
Make and/ or assist Category Manager in developing supply strategy, sourcing plan, supplier evaluation, spend analysis

What we're looking for

Experience:

Minimum 2 years relevant commercial experience within all aspects of procurement on local or regional level
Experience in Marketing ATL or BTL agencies is an advantage
International work experience in related industry could be an advantage

High level of energy and drive, pro-active, ambitious and dynamic

Functional skills:

Ability to understand local requirements and translate those in to spend and demand analyses.
Knowledge about Marketing ATL & BTL
Thorough knowledge of how to collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative information to assess, screen and select suppliers
Expert in negotiation / tender development and execution
Knowledge about e-sourcing, contract management, P2P as well as TCO building
Good overall business understanding, knowledge in procurement and supply chain management
Thorough knowledge about governance/policies and procedures
Strong negotiation skills
Analytical skills and ability to provide local market and industry analysis
Stakeholder Management, Client Orientation, SRM, CSR, Risk management, Financial Analysis and industry know-how.

Other skills:

Thorough knowledge of financial instruments and analytical tools
Extensive usage of Microsoft Power Point, Word, Outlook and Excel
Knowledge of Ariba an e-sourcing is an advantage
Fluent in local and English language (spoken and written)
Ability to work in virtual teams

Education and Experience:

Education as buyer preferably with commercial study background

Language skills:

Fluent in local language (spoken and written)
Fluent in English (preferable)
