Commercial Assistant Manager

• Position Summary:The role of the Commercial Assistant Manager is to support the business in the analysis of logistics operations to develop business solutions for our customers which covers the areas of inventory modelling, transportation optimization and utilization, network optimization, productivity reporting of transport and warehousing performance levels, development of new logistic business models, key performance indicators benchmarking and business simulations to perform real-life scenario building with the overall aim of developing detailed business solutions for our clients. The key responsibilities are collecting the necessary data, verifying the correctness of the information, testing the data for accuracy and undertaking analysis using sophisticated business management and database tools to develop complex business solutions. • Key Accountabilities:*Safety - Ensure at all times adhere to occupational health & safety policy, health and safety procedures and legislative requirements- Ensure safety is a first agenda item work schedule.- Initiate actions to improve health and safety within area of responsibility.- Apply all the regulations on company' s HSE, code of conduct in all cases, business contracts*Analyze & Business Effectiveness- Linfox will provide a general knowledge about FMCG in first weeks - Analysis and Issue resolution - takes personal responsibility for the analysis of key issues and present options to the Commercial Manager on resolving these issues- Commercial awareness - support the Commercial Manager in the development of robust pricing mechanisms, KPI's and price reduction mechanisms- Participate in seeking out commercial opportunities and works to build and manage effective internal relationships- Comply with all departmental controls relating to commercial practice- Assist the Commercial Manager in the resolution of disputes obtaining and managing input from operational colleagues and others as directed (e.g. Legal)- Support the operational contract managers to deliver and maintain their contract plans as directed by the Commercial Manager- Ensure that all programmes and projects deliver to time, cost, and quality requirements and provide reports on these; systematically organises activities, clarifying tasks and responsibilities and making best use of resources; defines, analyses and interprets financial data confidently.- Providing and reporting the Commercial support to a National Commercial Manager- Support and engage with the wider supply chain activities on the project. - Ensure all Principal Accountabilities are implemented in accordance with Commercial Procedures - Support for tender: collect data, transport rate information, operating knowledge, transportation, and operation cost (People cost, Indirect & Direct Cost) for analysis- Will be trained the Capital Approval Model (CAM) and apply CAM in Commercial procedure - Weekly update Business Development Pipeline report to GM promptly.- Follow up and manage Non-disclosure Agreements with customers. - Perform ad-hoc business analysis as and when required. - Prepare, follow, control, and contact subcontractors for Contract and Annex- Monthly Performance Report to National Commercial Manager before sending to customer - Warehouse and transportation cost analysis, data evaluation- Do presentations to customers- Write/prepare Meeting Minutes
