Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with planning teams and develop capacity requirements based on base case and high case demand plans.
Drive capacity readiness working with supplier and commodity managers throughout the product life cycle, from new product introduction (NPI) to mass production and end-of-life.
Support Global Commodity Managers (GCMs) to identify supply chain risks and mitigation steps through supplier network optimization. Drive initiatives to design and implement capacity planning processes that drive improvements in supply chain performance.
Develop and report out clear business metrics such as on-time delivery and demand coverage. Ensure that supplier commits are systematically captured in the planning system.
Align team members and stakeholders, communicate widely and transparently, publish periodic updates and drive capacity reviews, i.e. clear-to-build (CTB) and backlog management.

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management.
Experience in category or commodity management, contract negotiation and supplier development.
Preferred qualifications:
MBA or Master's degree in a technical or engineering field.
5 years of experience managing capacity planning, supply chain analytics, metrics management, activity reporting, and relevant data center hardware.
Experience with data center commodities.

You will be responsible for all aspects of supplier development and ongoing performance management for Google's technology and business needs. You will manage projects that involve collaboration to develop and execute Google's sourcing strategy for our GPU and CPU hardware across multiple internal organizations, in support of our infrastructure deployment that powers Google's services.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
