Responsibilities
Pioneer the search and online brand advertising markets, supporting Google's growth and business generating efforts in Vietnam, and create a strong localized view and go-to-market strategies on global approaches around new product launches.
Drive the development and implementation of Google Vietnam's marketing plans for consumer, advertiser and publisher products (including marketing campaigns) in partnership with products, sales, Communications and Business Development teams.
Uncover insights about Vietnamese users, small business owners, key opinion formers, and the digital ecosystem to inform initiatives and marketing strategies.
Evaluate consumer marketing opportunities and initiate programs to increase awareness of Google products through development of creative programs, brand awareness campaigns, and promotions.
Drive country digital ecosystem efforts to support the development of digital economies, enabling Google's sustained growth momentum among local businesses and users.

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
13 years of experience in product marketing, brand marketing, direct marketing, marketing strategy, or consulting.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience managing direct and cross-functional teams to increase company business growth and awareness through well-executed marketing efforts.
Understanding of Google's strategic and competitive position, and ability to determine the optimal way to position products in the market and understanding of the search, online advertising, or web publishing markets.
Ability to develop and understand strategy, driving strategic alignment with executive stakeholders and inspiring teams to achieve goals.
Ability to build diverse and inclusive teams, and attract and retain talent.
Ability to communicate in English fluently to foster and develop key relationships with new and existing partners in Vietnam.

As the Country Marketing Manager, you will lead a team and work with cross-functional teams to drive the growth of critical and emerging digital ecosystems in one of Google's growth markets. Your role will have a focus on B2C, B2B, and Brand and Reputation marketing, where you will lead a team of marketers, be responsible for the strategy, planning, and communication of Google's thought leadership in digital marketing, to support the sales teams in driving advertising business from advertisers and agencies, grow Google users in the region on our core products, and to safeguard Google's reputation. This will involve inspiring and educating digital marketers across Vietnam with market insights, shaping Google's content strategy and communicating via scalable marketing channels. You will also build plans to build and strengthen Google's brand and reputation, with both users and key opinion leaders. This is a cross-functional role, involving work with Public Policy, Sales, Communications, as well as collaborating with other marketing teams across Google's global offices.
