About the Team
The BI team at Vexere connects data, technology, and business decisions across the company. We support Product, Business, and Operations teams across our SaaS, OTA, and Ecommerce businesses, working with one of the largest data lakes in Vietnam covering 30M+ users and millions of daily transactions, to help every team make data-driven decisions. We value strong logical thinking, ownership, and data-informed decision-making.
About the Role
As a Data Analyst Trainee at Vexere, you will turn raw data into clear, actionable insights that guide day-to-day business decisions. You'll collaborate with senior analysts and the teams in your assigned product line to collect and clean data, explore trends, and design dashboards that highlight key performance metrics. This role is ideal for someone curious, structured, and eager to grow in data analytics. We value strong analytical thinking, ownership, communication skills, and sharp problem-solving skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Dashboard Ownership: Build and maintain dashboards (Data Studio, Metabase) that track key metrics for your product line enjoy working on key projects such as pricing, promotions, and operations, dealing with large datasets.
- Reporting Best Practices: Learn and apply data visualization and reporting standards used across the BI team.
- Data Reliability: Flag data quality or consistency issues to the wider BI team, so metrics stay reliable and aligned across product lines.
REQUIREMENTS
- Final-year students majoring in Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Information Management, Statistics, or related fields.
- Proficiency in SQL (BigQuery, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.) with solid data execution, data processing, and logical structuring abilities.
- Basic familiarity with visualization tools (Data Studio/Looker Studio, Metabase, Power BI, etc.).
- Basic proficiency in querying, report drafting, and presenting analytical insights.
- Non-stop curiosity, proactive mindset, and a strong hunger for learning.
📌 WORK DETAILS
Type: Full-time (4 days/week)
- Equipment: Candidates are required to use their personal laptop for work during the traineeship.
Schedule: Fixed on-site at the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays (flexible on other working days)
Duration: 3 months
