Data Analyst

The Performance Management Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large sets of data related to the performance of our healthcare network. This position's insights and recommendations will be crucial in optimizing the efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness of our network, ultimately improving patient outcomes and satisfaction.
1. Data Collection and Management:
- Collect, validate, and organize data from various sources, including electronic health records (EHR), claims data, provider databases, and other relevant systems.
- Develop and maintain efficient data collection processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and acquire additional data sources as needed.
2. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze healthcare network performance data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct statistical analyses to assess network utilization, cost-effectiveness, quality of care, and patient outcomes.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing data findings and recommendations for management and key stakeholders.
3. Performance Optimization:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network operations, finance, and quality improvement, to develop and implement strategies for optimizing network performance.
- Identify areas of improvement, such as network leakage, referral patterns, and resource utilization, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented initiatives and measure the impact on performance metrics.
4. Data Visualization and Communication:
- Develop visually appealing and intuitive data visualizations, including charts, graphs, and interactive dashboards, to effectively communicate complex information to stakeholders.
- Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide ad-hoc analyses and reports as requested.
5. Data Governance and Compliance:
- Develop visually appealing and intuitive data visualizations, including charts, graphs, and interactive dashboards, to effectively communicate complex information to stakeholders.
- Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide ad-hoc analyses and reports as requested.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations, including HIPAA and GDPR, when handling sensitive healthcare data.
- Maintain documentation of data sources, methodologies, and processes to ensure transparency and reproducibility of analyses.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to healthcare data analysis and performance management.
