Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items as directed by the Chef de Partie.
Contribute to the development and planning of menus, incorporating future food trends, and demonstrate a passion for developing new service styles and concepts.
Prepare and produce a variety of pastries, breads, and desserts.
Create seasonal and innovative dessert menus.
Maintain ingredient freshness, quality, and proper storage standards.
Supervise and mentor junior pastry staff.
Ensure strict cleanliness and adherence to food safety guidelines.
Stay updated on current pastry trends and culinary techniques.
Assist in inventory management and food cost control.
Yêu cầu
Relevant educational background, vocational training, academic degree, or professional
qualification applicable to the position and commensurate with the position level
Relevant experience in a similar position and/or within a similar scale of operation, commensurate
with the position level.
Good knowledge of relevant SOPs, operational standards, health & safety requirements, and
workplace regulations.
Good communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
Strong commitment to service excellence and professional standards.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Relevant professional certifications and English proficiency are advantages, depending on the
position.
